4weeks!

Wow it's been so long since my last post!
In the ensuing time we've been very busy... and everything is now booked and organised.
We're staying in San Francisco for 3 days then Seattle for 1 and a half...then to Astoria.
After that the research begins. :)
Longview in Washington state is the first to be checked out, then we will fly to New York. Staying in apartments in the theological seminary of Columbia University...while visiting Brooklyn Public Library. (and a few days looking round NYC of course!) We then head to Garden City and Centereach on Long Island where I'll be early literacy learning again...and on from there through to Oneida in upstate New York. Oneida Public Library received grants not long ago to start up exactly the same program as I hope we can see being established round Australia.
The we'll head to toronto in Canada for a few days and head home.
Wow. I think I'll be exhausted.
All the Amtrak tickets and car hire is sorted, as is the accommodation all through, so now I can just relax. LOL. like that's gonna happen.
We have bought a new point and shoot digi camera each, so hope to have mega lots of pictures to send home.
once the trip happens i guess there'll be more to write!
