I think we may have walked about a zillion miles today. :) Caught a cable car to fisherman's wharf then walked to the golden gate bridge (yes walked)..okay it's only about 5 miles... nice walk but nice to have it finished as well.
We came back via Lombard street - crookedest street in the world - and Borders books - good combination.
We are exhausted but it's been a very full and interesting day!
Started the day with me visiting SF public library and Martin visiting Mythbusters lot. The SFPL were having an FOL booksale which was exciting.. :).. and Mythbusters don't open their doors to the public (oooh)
We head to Seattle tomorrow which could be interesting

Ah Yes! Isn't San Fran amazing? I'd say your observations are very accurate! I loved Sausolito also... so cool how the houses are built into the hillside. Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf are the hot spots, glad you enjoyed them... did you watch the seals? haha. Enjoy Seattle, I've never been but plan to some day. A friend of mine recently drove the coast from Seattle to Cali and she said it was stunningly beautiful. Have a blast on the west coast! I look forward to reading more of your blogs! Welcome to America!!!

And we are slowly recovering from your desertion of us poor Aussies.
